The Little Book of Air Combat Tactics

Referencing the Victorian tradition of collecting and archiving visual information in the form of watercolours the drawings are based on books and manuals about air combat tactics and divided into five chapters. The project was initiated at the time of the Iraq war and in the context of the debate which accompanied the war, before, during and after. While some of the images are very familiar and accessible others belong more strictly to a very secluded area of expert knowledge.
